Can you even imagine how devastating it must be to be possessed by demons and have no one believe you? None of your family, your friends, nor even your pastor? In addition to that, all your prayers and those provided by the evangelists you regularly support with monetary donations seem to be of no avail. That's what Jean Grandinetti's Aunt Lura had to contend with in the last few years of her life on this earth, and the truth only became evident when her daily journals were found by her niece and recounted here for all to see. What would you do if all of your small kitchen appliances ceased working simultaneously and there was no obvious reason for it?

Book Review(s):
If you’ve ever wondered about the after life, God, or Satan, then The Possession of Aunt Lura is the book you’ve been waiting for. In her first novel, Jean Price Grandinetti proves she is an author with talent as she probes into the life and death of her Jesus-obsessed aunt. Grandinetti details the torture one woman went through as a group of demons, led by the “Puke,” plagued her day in and day out. Written with a careful concern for detail, Grandinetti uses wit as she sheds some light on what happens to our souls after we “pass over.” Using personal experiences over the years, Grandinetti takes the reader to another level by relating her own interactions with spirits, both good and evil. The book will keep you on edge, looking over your shoulder silently muttering, “If you’re good you may stay, if you’re evil you must go.” This book gives a vivid answer to perhaps the greatest mystery of all time - What are Heaven and hell?

Ms. Grandinetti has provided the reader with a detailed accounting of her Aunt Lura's possession by demons, both from the records kept by her aunt, and with confirmation from those experiences she herself had while trying to complete the story. The Possession of Aunt Lura will keep you on the edge of your seat one moment and send you rolling on the floor laughing at the courage and spunk of Aunt Lura in her fight against those demons. A thoroughly enjoyable read, and one that will make you stop and seriously reconsider your belief in the "hereafter."
